President Armen Sarkissian continues consultations with the experts of the healthcare system on the avenues to fight and defeat the coronavirus pandemic.

President Sarkissian held meetings with the former Minister of Health, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Derenik Doumanian, former Minister of Health, Doctor of Medicine Ararat Mkrtchian, and had a phone conversation with the former Minister of Health, currently a high-level official at the World Health Organization, Professor Hayk Nikoghossian.

During the meetings and conversations the parties spoke of the situation created in our country as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, its impact on the healthcare system, response of the healthcare system, and the adopted strategy. The interlocutors exchanged also views on the avenues to contain and defeat the virus. The experts of the healthcare system presented their approaches and proposals.
