President Armen Sarkissian met with the Ambassador of UAE in Armenia Mohamed Al Zaabi who is concluding his diplomatic mission in our country

President Armen Sarkissian received today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates in the Republic of Armenia Mohamed Al Zaabi who is concluding his diplomatic mission in our country.

President Sarkissian thanked the Ambassador for his efforts aimed at the strengthening of the relations between the two friendly countries and his personal contribution to the deepening of cooperation in different areas.

President Sarkissian asked to convey his warm greetings to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, his good friend Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. After the President’s phone conversation with the Crown Prince, the UAE dispatched to Armenia nearly seven tons of humanitarian assistance, including medical and sanitary supplies. The President thanked once again the United Arab Emirates for the assistance provided to Armenia in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking of the prospects for development of bilateral relations, President Sarkissian stressed the importance of a continuous development of cooperation and noted that the implementation of the existing great potential will elevate the relations to a new level.

Ambassador Mohamed Al Zaabi thanked for cooperation and noted that he was leaving the friendly Armenia with warm recollections.
