President of Armenia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Armen Sarkissian made an appeal: fortify and empower our border communities through joint efforts

The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has initiated an all-Armenian fundraising marathon titled “To Fortify the Border Communities.” All proceeds will be channeled toward the resolution of the pressing social and economic problems of the border communities.

On this occasion, the President of Armenia and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Armen Sarkissian made an appeal and noted that the recent military actions instigated by Azerbaijan on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border urge us to once again unite around our Fatherland and direct our efforts to its defense and empowerment.

President Sarkissian underscored that the residents of the border communities of Armenia, which have been a target of hostile actions for decades, stand firmly on their land and became our unbreakable border guards. “Border communities have a strategic significance for the security of Armenia and Artsakh. It means that security, economic and social assistance to these communities is the all-national priority,” the President of Armenia said.

Armen Sarkissian urged all statesmen, spiritual leaders, organizations and parties active in Armenia and in Diaspora, and individuals represented at the Board of Trustees of Hayastan all-Armenian Fund bring their entire potential to the organization of this fundraising through the Fund’s channels. Donations can be made online at the www.himnadram.org site on the special platform created for this particular initiative or by transferring money to the bank account, or by contacting local branches of the Fund in Diaspora to transfer the collected means to the Fund through these channels as well. “Fatherland begins with border communities. Today, the residents of the border communities need our, all-Armenian family’s assistance. We will fortify and empower our border communities through joint efforts,” President of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Armen Sarkissian underscored in his appeal.
