If today we have faith, are disciplined and organized, with a precise goal and plan, we will get our dream: President Sarkissian paid tribute at Erablur to the memory of the devotees who fell for independence of the Fatherland

On the occasion of Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian together with His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian, President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunian, Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, and members of the Security Council, accompanied by the highest echelon of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces visited today the Erablur military pantheon and paid tribute to the memory of the devotees who gave their lives for independence of the Fatherland.

Responding to the questions of the journalists, President Sarkissian congratulated all on the occasion of the holiday and said, “Thirty years ago, our nation had a dream, a dream cherished for hundreds of years – to reestablish its independent statehood, and 29 year ago that dream became a reality. Through these years we have had great victories, difficulties, and I believe we have learned all good and bad lessons. It’s time we dream again, so that in the next 30 years we build a strong and powerful state. Twenty-nine years ago we all together had faith and received what we wanted. If today we have faith, are disciplined and organized, with a precise goal and plan, we will get our dream.”
