In these difficult and sensitive times refrain from spreading false and made-up information: The reaction of the Public Relations Department at the Office of the President of the Republic to the misleading information found in some mass media

As already informed, the President of the Republic left for Moscow on a private visit. Initially, no official meetings were envisaged; therefore, no agreement could have been discussed on such a meeting.

Continuing his meetings with the Armenian communities of the Diaspora, the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with the representatives of the Armenian community in Moscow. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, a limited number of people were invited to the meeting held at the Cathedral of the Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan of the Armenian Apostolic Church. All the guests, about thirty people, took part in the meeting. The participants of the meeting wanted to be informed directly by the President of Armenia about the recent developments around Artsakh and the situation in Armenia. During the open and direct conversation, which lasted for three hours, a sincere exchange of views took place. Various questions were asked to President Sarkissian, to which he gave detailed answers. Complete official information about the meeting of the President of the Republic will be given.

Some of the media have spread fabricated information about the Armenian President's visit to the church and meeting, which has absolutely nothing to do with the reality. We urge you to refrain from spreading false and made-up information in these difficult times.
