The newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Alexander Konyuk presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.

Congratulating the Ambassador on entering the diplomatic service in our country, President Armen Sarkissian expressed confidence that in the coming years the Armenian-Belarusian friendly relations will be further strengthened and expanded for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.

Ambassador Alexander Konyuk conveyed the warm greetings of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to President Armen Sarkissian. The ambassador stressed that he would serve his knowledge and energy to develop the traditionally friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries and to impart them a new quality.

The parties agreed that there is a great untapped potential in bilateral relations.

They touched upon expanding cooperation between Armenia and Belarus in the fields of industry, information technologies, science, food security, and other spheres. They also spoke about the current situation in Armenia.
