Armenia and Argentina traditionally have warm and friendly relations. The newly appointed Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sarkissian

Today, Mariano Vergara, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to Armenia, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian.

President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the post and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in our country. The President noted that the newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia starts his activities in a difficult period for our country and expressed confidence that his efforts will contribute to the further development and strengthening of relations between the two friendly countries.

Emphasizing that Armenia and Argentina traditionally have warm and friendly relations, President Sarkissian attached importance to the expanding bilateral cooperation in various spheres.

The interlocutors agreed that the Armenian community of Argentina has a significant role in strengthening the friendship and maintaining warm relations between the two peoples.

Ambassador Mariano Vergara noted that he was glad to represent his country in Armenia, and expressed readiness to do his best to deepen cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
