A meeting with the representatives of the families of the missing took place in the Office of the President of the Republic
Meetings with the families of those reported missing during the Artsakh war took place in the Office of the President of the Republic.
At an earlier meeting with President Armen Sarkissian at the President’s Residence, it was agreed that the relatives of the missing would keep in touch with the Office of the President and recurrently exchange information on the search process and possible problems that arise. President Armen Sarkissian noted that the issues related to the search of the missing are in the centre of his attention; he would continue the efforts within his powers in that direction, cooperating with the command staff of the Russian peacekeeping contingent as well.
During today's meetings, the representatives of the Office of the President of the Republic presented information on the work done during this period, noting that they cooperate with the relevant state structures and the command staff of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The relatives of the missing presented the current situation, also provided information and materials that might be useful in the search.
The Office of the President will continue to meet with the relatives of the missing.
