President Armen Sarkissian received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan

Today, President Armen Sarkissian received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan.

The Minister informed the President of the Republic about the situation in the spheres of the Ministry he heads and work being carried out, as well as the vision and programs of development.

President Sarkissian noted that the ministry coordinates areas of crucial importance for the future of our country, each requiring a lot of work. The President said that the system needs serious attention and changes, exclusively aimed at increasing the efficiency of governance, competitiveness and development.

They touched upon the legislative package "On Higher Education and Science" authored by the Government and adopted by the National Assembly.
