The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyid Ali Khamenei sent a letter of thanks to the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyid Ali Khamenei sent a letter of thanks to the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian in response to the congratulatory message, sent by the President of Armenia on the occasion of Nowruz and the New Solar Year.

The letter particularly says:

"I hope that the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia, taking into account the long-standing ties between the two countries and the existing capacities, will further develop and strengthen to ensure common interests, to strengthen regional and international peace and security, and to establish world justice."
