President Armen Sarkissian’s congratulatory message on the occasion of the Last Bell

Dear Graduates,

You are graduating from school today. The Last Bell of school life signals the beginning of a new one. The path to a more mature life begins for you today, heading you for different directions: universities, workplace, the world of culture, or military service.

Do not hesitate to have most different dreams, and let today be the start of their realization. Whatever path, whatever profession you choose, whatever difficulties you face, you must love the Homeland and be committed. To love with all your heart and soul, to love unwaveringly. I am sure that your parents and teachers also taught you this lesson in the first place.

We must look forward and move forward with you. One should not recede in the face of trials and difficulties, no matter how insuperable they may seem.

We are strong when we are together; we are invincible when we believe in our victory.

Many of your peers, and older ones, proved this once again with their deeds and feats in the last war, and many at the cost of their lives. Eternal glory to all of them.

You will be the builders of new victories. Strength and might to you; flight of thought and strong will for creation.

I wish the path of your life was bright and radiant, peaceful and safe, and none of you lacked love: love for knowledge and work, love for the Homeland, your nation and family, love towards each other.
