President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on his birthday.

The message particularly says:

"Your long selfless work in various fields, from science to diplomacy and politics, has always been an example of sincere service to your country and people.

At this difficult time, the mutual trust and unselfish friendship that historically binds Belarus and Armenia are of particular value. I am convinced that on this solid basis we will be able to fully realize the potential of the Armenian-Belarusian relations, to expand joint activities within the framework of integration programs.

I am ready to contribute to the further development of cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of our citizens."
