Under the high patronage of President Armen Sarkissian, the prestigious international "Summit of Minds" will be held in Armenia for the third time

This October, Armenia will host the prestigious international Summit of Minds for the third time.

The "Summit of Minds" held every year in the French city of Chamonix has been hosted in Armenia since 2019. That year, the event was held for the first time outside of Chamonix and was called the "Armenian Summit of Minds."

The traditional "Armenian Summit of Minds" has become a unique Armenian brand today. An exceptional agreement on its organization was reached in September 2018, when the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian participated as the keynote speaker at the annual "Summit of Minds."

The "Summit of Minds" unites famous figures of the world's political, economic, scientific, and cultural circles. It is a unique platform for еxchanging ideas, knowledge and experience, the main goals of which are to present new ideas on most significant issues of global interest and establish mutually reliable partnerships through direct discussions.

Aiming at expanding the geography of the summit, and to reveal new ideas and opportunities, the "Summit of Minds" will be held in several countries this year.

In September, 2021, the world’s main macro-problems will be discussed in the French city of Chamonix: economy, geopolitics, society, environment, and technology, their development in the coming years and potential impact on investment and business decisions.

The summit will be held in Armenia this October, and in Canada this November; it is also scheduled to take place in the United States next year.

The first "Armenian Summit of Minds", which was held in Dilijan in 2019, had quite a positive feedback. Among the participants were about 300 famous and influential politicians and statesmen, scientists, businessmen-investors, heads of major companies, and media outlets from around the world.

The second "Armenian Summit of Minds" was held online in October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the war, unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh. The organizers and participants of the summit touched upon the military aggression of Azerbaijan in the context of global challenges.

The third "Armenian Summit of Minds" is scheduled for October 23-24, 2021, in Dilijan. It will be held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian. The chief partners are the authoritative analytical magazine "The Monthly Barometer" and the RA Central Bank. The main topics of this year will be the geopolitics of the South Caucasus region, the development of technologies, in particular, artificial intelligence and biotechnologies in the 21st century. Well-known speakers from different countries will deliver reports.

At the recent online meeting with the summit participants, President Armen Sarkissian particularly said. "People are the most powerful resource that Armenia has. I am one of those who believe that human resources are much richer, stronger and more powerful natural resources, as that is the future, that is the 21st century.”

Such an event in Armenia, and visits of influential individuals and leaders representing the business, scientific, and political spheres, will particularly contribute to improving the international rating of our country, and attracting possible investments. The summit is a unique opportunity of presenting Armenia's potential, developing new areas of cooperation, and establishing business ties.
