President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a farewell meeting with Ambassador of Slovenia Tomaž Mentsin

The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia Tomaž Mentsin upon completing the diplomatic mission.

In his welcome remarks, the President noted, "I wish to thank you for your contribution to the development of Armenian-Slovenian relations. Our countries have friendly relations based on mutually beneficial cooperation and commitment to our shared values. Next year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations.

I am convinced that we will capitalize all that we have achieved together and of course we should always look forward, develop relations and find new areas of cooperation."

Ambassador Mentsin expressed gratitude for the reception and emphasized that his diplomatic service was aimed at promoting multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon issues related to multi-level cooperation between Armenia and Slovenia. Both sides highlighted the existing cooperation potential in high-tech, economic and other areas as well as the close cooperation of Armenia and Slovenia on various international platforms.
