President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador Argentina to Armenia Mariano Vergara

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to Armenia Mariano Vergara.

The President congratulated on the national holiday of Argentina, Revolution Day, celebrated on May 25. "Accept my congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday and my best wishes to the people of Argentina in your person and to the President of Argentina.

Accept my cordial wishes. Of course, I believe it is of utmost importance that everyone, especially as citizens, in this case I mean Argentines, can participate in building the country of their dreams."

Ambassador Mariano Vergara, in turn, noted, "Thank you, dear Mr. President, for this reception. Your approach, your willingness to host and support us is essential and highly appreciated. Thank you again for the welcome and kind words."

During the meeting, the sides touched upon a wide range of issues related to further deepening the friendly Armenian-Argentine relations. Thoughts were exchanged on close cooperation between the two countries on international platforms.

In the course of the discussion, President Vahagn Khachaturyan presented details on the developments in the region in connection with which Ambassador Vergara emphasized Argentina's readiness to fully support Armenia's position aimed at normalizing relations with its neighbors and establishing sustainable and durable peace.

Both sides attached importance to initiatives aimed at promoting parliamentary diplomacy and high-level political dialogue.
