President Vahagn Khachaturyan delivered a speech at the scientific conference held at the Dilijan Training and Research Center of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia

As part of the events of the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Armenian dram, the high-level conference entitled "30th anniversary of the Armenian dram: orientation in the new digital age and reflecting on the past" was held jointly with the "Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee" organization and the Union of Banks of Armenia at the Dilijan Training and Research Center of the Central Bank of Armenia. The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, and the Governor of the Central Bank Martin Galstyan, spoke at the opening of the conference.

In his speech, the President welcomed the holding of the high-level conference and wished the participants productive work.

"I am confident that the discussions will be useful both for the Central Bank, and the representatives of international financial organizations and central banks of individual countries, and solutions will be found for the issues on the agenda," the President noted.

At the conference, to which high-ranking guests from Armenia and abroad were invited, the 30-year journey of the Armenian dram was presented, the monetary and budget policy, the role of digital and "green" economies in the global financial system, the risks of the global financial system and digital currency were discussed.
