President Vahagn Khachaturyan meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev
President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia, at the presidential residence.
Welcoming the guest, the President congratulated the Ambassador on the Republic and Sovereignty Day of Kazakhstan. "Independence and sovereignty are the highest values and on the occasion of the symbolic holiday for the people of Kazakhstan, I extend my best wishes to the top leadership of your country and the friendly Kazakh people," the President noted.
Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev expressed gratitude for the reception and kind words and emphasized that all his efforts during the diplomatic service are aimed at the deepening and development of Armenian-Kazakh relations.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects and directions to further promote cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and other fields. Both sides attached importance to cooperation particularly in high-tech and related fields.
During the discussion, the interlocutors touched upon the dynamic development of parliamentary diplomacy between the parliaments of Armenia and Kazakhstan. In this context, mutual visits and exchange of experience between the MPs of the two countries were highlighted.
At the meeting, ideas were also exchanged about the possibilities of activating the cooperation between the Armenian and Kazakh academic circles, in particular, using the resources of the Matenadaran to study the history of the Kazakh people, and to conduct joint research projects.
