President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received astrophysicist, Co-founder of the international Starmus Festival Garik Israelian and presented him a high state award.

For his significant contribution to the development of science and education, Garik Israelian was awarded the medal "For Services to the Fatherland" of the 1st degree.

President Khachaturyan congratulated the astrophysicist and wished him new successes.
