President of the Republic received the Ambassador of Iran

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani.

The President welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated the Iranian people and leadership on the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, wishing success and prosperity.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran and emphasized the importance of expanding partnership and cooperation between the two countries. Special attention was given to the progress of joint projects in economic, cultural, and transport sectors.

President Khachaturyan and Ambassador Sobhani underscored the necessity of strengthening and expanding close ties between the two countries, as well as the importance of continued efforts aimed at further developing bilateral cooperation, which reflects the high level of mutual understanding and mutually beneficial collaboration between Armenia and Iran.
