President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador of Japan to Armenia, Aoki Yutaka
President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia, Aoki Yutaka.
The President welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on Japan’s National Day—the Emperor’s Birthday—wishing prosperity and success to the people of Japan. Ambassador Yutaka expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and kind wishes.
During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to further develop the partnership between Armenia and Japan, as well as the opportunities for implementing joint projects. Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, and high technologies.
Both sides emphasized the importance of high-level political dialogue, reciprocal visits, and the development of parliamentary diplomacy. Additionally, they exchanged views on regional peace and the strengthening of democratic institutions.
President Khachaturyan expressed his gratitude to the Japanese government and authorities for their clear stance on establishing peace in the region and resolving issues through negotiations.
