President of the Republic received the Minister of High-Tech Industry

On March 12, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

During the meeting, the minister presented the progress of the ministry’s programs and upcoming initiatives to the President.

The minister also introduced the “RA Space Strategy” project, which is a detailed five-year development plan.

The strategy aims to strengthen the national security component in the space industry, as well as in related fields such as telecommunications, digital technologies, science, and high-tech industry, ensuring the country’s development in line with the rapid changes of the modern world.

The meeting also addressed opportunities for enhancing Armenia’s technological competitiveness and the necessary measures to achieve this. Additionally, the expansion of international cooperation and mechanisms for the effective utilization of scientific potential were discussed.

President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of high-tech development as a key factor in economic growth and national security reinforcement.
