President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva
President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva.
The delegation led by the Minister is in Armenia on April 18–19 to participate in the events dedicated to the Days of Kazakh Culture in Armenia.
Welcoming the Minister, President Khachaturyan emphasized that such visits not only deepen bilateral ties but also bring a renewed spirit to the development of friendly relations between the two peoples. He noted that culture, as a manifestation of the spiritual identity of nations, plays a unique role in bringing different nations closer together, fostering mutual recognition, and building bridges of trust.
Minister Aida Balayeva, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, and highly appreciated the opportunity to hold the Days of Kazakh Culture in Armenia. She emphasized the importance of continuing and deepening cultural dialogue as a solid foundation for mutual understanding and recognition between peoples.
In her remarks, the Minister extended congratulations and wished peace and prosperity to the people of Armenia on the upcoming Holy Easter—the Feast of the Resurrection.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on ways to deepen cooperation in the fields of culture and related areas between the two countries.
Both sides agreed that the shortest and most effective path to mutual recognition between peoples is through cultural exchange, as culture carries the language of values, mindset, and historical memory.
