The newly appointed Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Armenia presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to Armenia, Aristide Tapsoba (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan.
President Khachaturyan congratulated Ambassador Tapsoba on his appointment and wished him success and effective work aimed at development of the relations between the two countries.
The President noted that Armenia is ready to enhance cooperation with Burkina Faso in areas of mutual interest, particularly highlighting the potential in the fields of information technology, mining industry, education, and healthcare.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the opportunities for developing bilateral relations and ways to promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest. In particular, they addressed the prospects for collaboration in the textile industry, emphasizing the potential in that sector and the need to implement mutually beneficial initiatives. The importance of jointly exploring ways to cooperate in the fields of education, science, and healthcare was also underlined, with the goal of supporting sectoral reforms and facilitating knowledge exchange. The sides also exchanged views on the potential for experience sharing in the mining sector.
During the meeting, the effective cooperation between Armenia and Burkina Faso in international platforms was positively noted. The discussion also touched upon the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation within the framework of partnerships among landlocked countries.
