President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan.

During the meeting, the mayor presented to the President the ongoing reforms, renovation works being implemented in the capital city and upcoming projects.

The discussions touched upon the work carried out in the direction of systemic reforms and the measures taken to eliminate various obstacles. Special emphasis was placed on the consistent policy aimed at modernizing the unified ticketing system.

Tigran Avinyan detailed the ongoing projects, noting the progress achieved in improving the public environment, particularly in the renovation and construction of public spaces, courtyards, parks, and playgrounds. He also provided an overview of the general situation in the field of urban development in Yerevan.

During the conversation, particular attention was paid to the systemic challenges present in the capital’s development programs and possible ways to address them.

In his remarks, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of a consistent approach to modernizing Yerevan’s infrastructure and implementing sectoral reforms.

Vahagn Khachaturyan particularly noted that the governance of the capital city involves unique complexities, the overcoming of which is possible only through the continuous enhancement of management efficiency and the implementation of coordinated policies.

Both sides stressed the necessity of ensuring the successful implementation of priority programs aimed at the development of the capital.
