President Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the Graduation Ceremony of ASUE Graduates
President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the graduation ceremony of the Armenian State University of Economics.
Welcoming and congratulating the graduates on the significant milestone of completing their university education, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and self-development.
“I am sure this is an emotional day for you. I am sure you have long been waiting for this moment. Always keep your dreams alive, always have plans, but never get discouraged if they don’t come true the way you currently envision them. They may come true in other ways if you continue learning, educating yourselves, and acquiring knowledge. This is just the beginning of the long journey that still awaits you.”
The President urged the graduates not to fear changes and challenges. According to him, we are living in an era that is already being characterized as a new revolution in human thinking.
“Today’s concern or fear perhaps lies in the fact that we do not yet fully understand the opportunities that artificial intelligence offers. But there is no need to be afraid of it. You are the generation that will have the opportunity to use it for the benefit of humanity.”
The President particularly highlighted the importance of free speech, the existence of diverse viewpoints, and healthy dialogue for the development of society.
“People like you are a treasure for our Republic. You are the ones who will shape our future. The future of the Republic of Armenia depends on your success.”
Concluding his speech, the President expressed gratitude to the university’s faculty, as well as to the parents and relatives of the graduates for guiding them to this point and providing knowledge and support. He wished them peace, boundless energy, and personal, professional, and creative achievements.
Afterward, the President, along with ASUE Rector Armen Grigoryan, handed diplomas to graduates with outstanding academic performance.
Following the ceremony, President Khachaturyan toured the university’s renovated and modernized classrooms, familiarizing himself with the new opportunities created.
