President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the “ASCE GROUP” Steel Casting Enterprise

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the “ASCE GROUP” steel casting enterprise in Charentsavan, which is the largest of its kind in Armenia.

The company specializes in the production of steel reinforcement bars used in construction, as well as steel grinding balls intended for the mining industry.

The President toured the enterprise, familiarizing himself with the operations of the foundry, in particular the 40-ton electric arc furnace operation and the continuous casting production lines.
The annual production capacity of the foundry is about 300,000 tons, while the production of rebars reaches up to 175,000 tons.
Within the framework of the visit, the President also toured the hot rolling mill for billets and the grinding ball production workshop, where it is planned to produce about 20,000 tons of products annually in a single shift.

Since 2022, the company has made investments of around 20 billion AMD, a significant portion of which became possible thanks to state support instruments. “ASCE GROUP” also benefits from various types of support provided by the government under investment programs.

Following the tour, discussions were held at the company’s office regarding its ongoing activities and investment projects, including the development of a solar photovoltaic plant and aluminum battery production. The government’s policies in the metallurgical sector in recent years were also addressed.
