The President of the Republic received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic

On the occasion of the Czech National Holiday — Statehood Day, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia, Petr Pirunčík.

Welcoming the Ambassador, President Khachaturyan, through him, congratulated the people and authorities of the Czech Republic on their national holiday, wishing them prosperity, development, and peace. He expressed confidence that relations based on mutual respect and trust would continue to expand and deepen.

Ambassador Petr Pirunčík thanked the President for the reception and the warm congratulations. He reaffirmed the Czech Republic’s readiness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation with Armenia and to further develop cooperation in regional and multilateral formats.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current level of relations between the two countries and prospects for their development. They highlighted the importance of cooperation in areas of mutual interest. It was noted that active contacts and cooperation between the two countries at different levels contribute to deepening relations and implementing new initiatives.

The Republic of Armenia–Czech Republic cooperation within the framework of the European Union was also addressed. The sides emphasized the importance of carrying out mutually beneficial initiatives that would not only strengthen bilateral relations but also contribute to the development of Armenia–EU cooperation.
