President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian.

On behalf of Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia, Archbishop Sarkissian presented to President Khachaturyan a book published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the enthronement of Aram I, conveying also warm greetings and blessings of the Catholicos.

President Khachaturyan expressed his gratitude for the precious gift, noting that it is a great honor for him to receive it. The President highly praised Catholicos Aram I’s spiritual and national mission, emphasizing his constant dedication to the unity of the Armenian nation and the preservation of its value system. The President, in turn, asked Archbishop Sarkissian to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to Catholicos Aram I.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to strengthening ties between Armenia and the Diaspora, the spiritual and national education of the younger generation, and the activities of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund. They also considered ways to ensure the continuity of initiatives that reinforce All-Armenian unity.

Archbishop Sarkissian conveyed Catholicos Aram I’s hope and expectation that the concerning phenomena observed in our life will, with God’s blessing and under the guidance of goodness, find their positive resolution—for the sake of our people’s unity, peace, and prosperity.
