President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili

Within the framework of his official visit to Georgia, the meeting between President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan and Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili continued in a constructive and partnership-oriented atmosphere.

During the meeting, the sides discussed agenda issues related to cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and other areas of mutual interest. The role of inter-parliamentary ties in further deepening bilateral relations was emphasized, as well as the importance of implementing joint initiatives that would contribute to strengthening stability, development, and mutual trust in the region.

Referring to the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, President Khachaturyan highlighted the strategic significance of the program in terms of long-term peace and regional economic integration.

The sides agreed that the successful implementation of this initiative could create new opportunities for sustainable economic growth not only for Armenia and Georgia but also for the entire region.

They also discussed issues related to unlocking the economic potential of regional development and deepening energy cooperation. In this context, the importance of joint efforts in international platforms and multilateral formats was stressed, aimed at the effective implementation of energy projects, development of communication infrastructure, and expansion of mutually beneficial economic ties.

The sides reaffirmed their mutual readiness to continue close cooperation in all areas aimed at strengthening relations between the two friendly countries and advancing the agenda of peace, security, and development in the region.
