President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze
Within the framework of his official visit to Georgia, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan held a private meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The President of the Republic expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, emphasizing that active high-level mutual visits demonstrate the trustworthy and effective partnership between the two countries.
The meeting between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister of Georgia continued in the format of a working lunch with the participation of the delegations.
During the meeting, a number of agenda issues of mutual interest for both countries were discussed. The sides attached special importance to assessing regional processes and to the directions of cooperation aimed at promoting peace, stability, and economic development in the region.
They discussed opportunities for expanding political dialogue, implementing joint economic programs, developing energy and transport links, as well as enhancing cultural and humanitarian exchanges. Both sides emphasized that developing new initiatives and effectively managing ongoing programs can significantly increase the potential of bilateral cooperation and contribute to the economic and social development of the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on making cooperation in international organizations and multilateral formats more targeted and coordinated. In this context, mutual support on international platforms, as well as forming joint positions on issues of regional importance, was considered essential.
At the end of the meeting, Armenia and Georgia reaffirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue, strengthen neighborly relations, and expand cooperation in all areas that serve the well-being of both peoples, as well as peace and economic stability in the region.
