Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to Armenia, Dima Haddad, presented her credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan

Lebanon’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia, Dima Haddad, presented her credentials to President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and expressed hope that her activities would contribute to strengthening relations between Armenia and Lebanon. In his remarks, the President emphasized the historically special ties and warmth between the two countries and peoples.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the reception and conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Lebanon.

During the meeting, it was highlighted that relations between Armenia and Lebanon are based on historical friendship, cultural similarities, and mutual respect. The sides emphasized effective cooperation, including within multilateral formats, noting that Lebanon is one of Armenia’s important partners in the region.

The sides discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They stressed the importance of efforts aimed at promoting political dialogue and strengthening practical ties.

The sides also underlined the significance of political and institutional cooperation, the realization of the existing great potential, and the preservation and development of inter-cultural and historical ties.

Ambassador Dima Haddad, in turn, assured that she will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing new initiatives.
