The Ambassador of Qatar to Armenia presented his Credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Armenia, Mansour Abdulla Al Sulaitin, presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
Congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment, President Khachaturyan emphasized that he is Qatar’s first resident ambassador to Armenia, noting that this opens new opportunities for the further development of bilateral relations.
“I am confident that Your activities will contribute to the further rapprochement and development of relations between Armenia and Qatar,” the President stated.
Vahagn Khachaturyan noted that Qatar is a friendly country for Armenia and an important partner in the Gulf region, highlighting the increasingly active development of bilateral relations in recent years.
The Ambassador thanked the President for the reception and conveyed the warm greetings of the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. “As you noted, the Republic of Armenia and the State of Qatar are connected by diverse and strong ties, on the basis of which we can consistently develop and expand our bilateral cooperation,” the Ambassador said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the State of Qatar in the political, economic, tourism, and other fields. The importance of the continued deepening of bilateral interaction in areas of mutual interest was emphasized.
The sides also touched upon opportunities for the implementation of investment projects and the expansion of investments in the fields of high technologies, infrastructure, tourism, and other sectors.
Both sides highly appreciated the high-level mutual visits carried out between the two countries, viewing them as an important factor contributing to the development of bilateral relations and the strengthening of partnership.
