President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov

The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, met with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, within the framework of his working visit to Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of the continuous development and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation on international platforms, noting that coordinated and active interaction within multilateral formats contributes both to the advancement of the bilateral agenda and to more effective alignment of positions on regional and global issues. In this context, the presidents reaffirmed their readiness to continue constructive cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

Referring to bilateral relations, the interlocutors noted that, despite the existing positive dynamics, the cooperation potential has not yet been fully realized. The importance of implementing practical steps aimed at intensifying economic ties, promoting direct contacts between business communities, and exploring investment opportunities was highlighted.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the ways of introducing direct flights between the two countries. The sides noted that such an initiative could significantly contribute to strengthening people-to-people contacts, developing tourism, as well as stimulating business and trade-economic cooperation, creating new opportunities for mutually beneficial projects.

The presidents stressed the importance of exchanging experience in various fields, highlighting especially the role of agriculture, high technologies, and related sectors. It was noted that expanding cooperation in these directions, introducing innovative solutions, and exchanging professional experience could significantly increase the economic competitiveness of both countries and promote sustainable development.

During the meeting, regional developments were also discussed. The sides emphasized the necessity of strengthening stability, peace, and mutual trust as an important prerequisite for long-term development, underlining the significance of continuous constructive dialogue and cooperation.
