President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh

The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, met with the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, within the framework of his working visit to Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the heads of the two states noted with satisfaction the effective and mutually beneficial cooperation established between Armenia and Mongolia on various international platforms and within multilateral formats. At the same time, the sides emphasized that there remains considerable untapped potential in bilateral relations, the realization of which requires more targeted and consistent efforts.

The President of Mongolia presented a number of international initiatives and events held in his country in recent years, placing special emphasis on programs aimed at expanding women’s participation and developing their potential. He expressed hope that Armenian women politicians and business representatives would also actively participate in these initiatives in the future, contributing to the deepening of cooperation.

During the conversation, regional developments were also addressed. The President of the Republic noted that after August 8, 2025, the South Caucasus entered a new stage of development, where the principles of good neighbourliness, stability, and peaceful coexistence have gained key importance.

The presidents also discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, science, high technologies, and artificial intelligence. The sides highlighted the importance of exchanging experience and implementing joint programs in these areas as an important foundation for the further development of bilateral relations.
