Award Ceremony Held at the Presidential Residence

By decrees of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, a group of citizens were awarded high state honors on the occasion of Republic Day.

The solemn award ceremony took place at the Presidential Residence, where the state awards were presented by President Vahagn Khachaturyan. The event was attended by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, senior officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and guests.

Welcoming the attendees, President Khachaturyan congratulated them on Republic Day and highly praised the contribution and service of the award recipients to the development of the country.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s address:

“Congratulations to all of you on Republic Day and on receiving the high state awards of the Republic of Armenia.

May 28 marks a pivotal moment in the modern history of our people, when, despite the gravest challenges of the time, the Armenian nation succeeded in restoring its statehood and reaffirming to the world its determination to live freely and independently. The First Republic was not only a historic event but also a profound expression of national dignity, responsibility, and faith in the future.

This day also provides an opportunity to recognize the dedication and work of those whose daily efforts strengthen our state, advance public life, and lay the foundations for the Armenia of tomorrow.

A high state award is, above all, an expression of appreciation for individuals who have dedicated their professional lives to public service, creative work, knowledge, human care, and service to the nation. Your achievements are not merely personal successes. They are also an important component of our country’s overall progress and societal development.

Today, Armenia stands at a responsible and decisive stage. The strength of our state depends not only on institutions or systems of governance but, above all, on people—citizens who believe in their work, accept responsibility, and act with honesty and perseverance. It is thanks to such individuals that we can overcome challenges, preserve the foundations of our statehood, and look confidently toward the future.

Every field in which you work—science, education, culture, healthcare, economy, armed forces, public administration, or other areas of public life, plays a vital role in the development of the country and the well-being of society. Your work helps create an environment in which the state becomes stronger, more competitive, and more people-centered.

I am confident that these awards will serve not only as recognition of your achievements but also as a new responsibility to continue serving our society and state with the same dedication.

Once again, congratulations to all of you.

I wish you peace, good health, creative energy, and continued success for the prosperity of the Republic of Armenia and our people.”
