President Vahagn Khachaturyan held Farewell Meeting with Ambassador of Denmark, Anne Toft Sørensen

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan held a farewell meeting with Anne Toft Sørensen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Armenia, on the occasion of the conclusion of her diplomatic mission.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the President expressed his gratitude for her dedicated service during her tenure in Armenia and for her significant contribution to the development of Armenia–Denmark relations, the enhancement of political dialogue, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation. President Khachaturyan highly appreciated Denmark’s continued support for democratic reforms in Armenia and wished Ambassador Sørensen success in her future endeavors.

Ambassador Anne Toft Sørensen thanked the President for the meeting, as well as for the effective cooperation and support extended by Armenia’s state institutions throughout her diplomatic mission. She emphasized that the atmosphere of mutual trust established between the two countries has contributed to advancing joint initiatives.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the Armenia–Denmark bilateral agenda, reviewing ongoing cooperation in the political, economic, and other fields, as well as opportunities for its further expansion. They underscored the importance of making more effective use of the existing potential for cooperation in high technologies, agriculture, and renewable energy through the application of Denmark’s advanced expertise and innovative solutions.

The interlocutors also highlighted the importance of maintaining the continuity of mutual visits, strengthening direct ties between the business communities of the two countries, and promoting new economic initiatives. In this context, they emphasized the significance of expanding Armenia’s economic relations with Denmark and other member states of the European Union to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and create new investment opportunities.
