President Vahagn Khachaturyan held a Private Meeting with the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

On July 14, in Doha, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan held a private meeting with the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The President of the Republic extended his deepest condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar on the passing of the Father Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, wishing them strength and resilience during this time of profound loss.

During the meeting, the President noted that, under the skilled leadership of Sheikh Hamad Al Thani, the State of Qatar had experienced remarkable progress as a result of extensive reforms. President Khachaturyan highly appreciated Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s significant contribution to strengthening and deepening Armenia–Qatar relations.

The discussion also covered issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as regional developments.
