President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s congratulatory message on Labor Day

Dear Compatriots,

Dear Workers,

I warmly congratulate you all on May 1—International Workers’ Day.

This day gives us an opportunity to appreciate and recognize the role of labor in our lives, in the development of society, and in the strengthening of statehood. Work is the cornerstone upon which both our personal and family well-being, as well as the progress and prosperity of the state, are built.

Our nation has been known for its diligence, creativity, and dedication throughout the centuries. Our history is full of examples of how we have overcome difficulties and created new values thanks to our hard work. Today as well, our citizens work with devotion, contributing to the development of the country.

May 1 is also a fitting occasion to assess our achievements and outline the paths for future development. We are obliged to create conditions in which every citizen can realize their potential, receive fair compensation, and work in dignified conditions.

I extend my gratitude to all workers who contribute to our country’s development through their daily efforts. I express special thanks to those who continue to conscientiously fulfill their professional duties under challenging circumstances.

Once again, I congratulate all of us on May 1 and wish health, prosperity, and new successes.
