President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s message on International Women’s Day

Dear Women,

I warmly congratulate you on March 8 — International Women’s Day.

This day is an opportunity once again to value and honor the role of women in our society, families, and in all spheres of public life. For centuries, the image of the Armenian woman has embodied dedication, care, strength, and responsibility, serving as one of the pillars of family stability, the preservation of values, and the upbringing of generations.

At the same time, in the modern world it is increasingly important to ensure the full participation of women in public and state governance processes. Ensuring equal opportunities, protecting women’s rights, and strengthening gender equality are essential and important prerequisites for the sustainable development of our country, the strengthening of democratic institutions, and effective governance.

We highly appreciate the significant contribution that women make in the fields of science, education, culture, economy, defense, and public administration. Your knowledge, responsibility, and initiative play an important role in the progress of our state and in building its future.

On this festive day, we express our deep gratitude and respect to our women, mothers, sisters, and daughters for their boundless love, dedication, and care, thanks to which our families and society become stronger and more united.
