President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the People’s Artist Vahagn Stamboltsian.
The letter sent to the Stamboltsian family states:
“I learned with great sorrow the news on the demise of the RA People’s Artist, professor of the Yerevan State Komitas Conservatoire, organist Vahagn Stamboltsian.
We lost a talented organist and a skillful educator whose contribution to the Armenian school of organ playing is immeasurable. Memory of Vahagn Stamboltsian will stay in our hearts for ever.
I express my deepest condolences and share your grief.”
