Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a message of condolences on the demise of the renowned art worker, Scientific Secretary of the RA Artists’ Union Saro Sarukhanian. The Presidential message of condolences addressed to the family, friends, colleagues, students, and culture admirers states: “Saro Sarukhanian made a considerable contribution to the development and popularization of the Armenian art. He authored numerous theoretical works, initiated and organized in the USSR unprecedented and unique liberal exhibitions. Through his efforts, Ijevan became in a way a sculptural capital which is decorated by the art works of the Armenian and foreign artists”.
