President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent Condolence Message on the Passing of His Holiness Pope Francis

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a message of condolence to Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals of the Holy See, on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

The message of condolence reads in particular:

“I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
His passing is a great loss for the Catholic world and all of Christendom.

His Holiness will be remembered as a beacon of hope, compassion, and unity.
