President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
The message states:
“Dear Teachers,
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
Today we honor those whose daily work shapes Armenia’s tomorrow. The promise of the future depends on today’s professionalism, dedication and tenacity of the teachers.
Currently, the educational system of Armenia is going through a difficult process of reformation, which I am confident, will yield its positive results. We will achieve considerable improvement of our system of education. With this regard teachers’ role becomes even more important as rises their responsibility.
From the national perspective, a more difficult and, at the same time, more honorable and gratifying work than the mission of educating and shaping worthy members of our society is hardly to be found.
Dear Teachers,
I once again congratulate you on the occasion of Teacher’s Day and wish you every success. Your every seemingly small success in the classroom, decades later translates into a great success in the Armenian citizen’s life and career.”
