President Armen Sarkissian received a congratulatory message of the occasin of Victory Day

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, sent a congratulatory message to the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.

Vladimir Putin noted in particular that Russia and Armenia had fought together against fascism and through the enormous sacrifice were able to celebrate victory. “I am confident that the Russian-Armenian relations, which are based on the tradition of a brotherly friendship, will continue to develop on the bilateral basis as well as in the context of the mutually beneficial regional integration processes. Please convey my most sincere congratulations to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War residing in Armenia. I wish them excellent health, well-being, and long life,” reads the congratulatory letter of Vladimir Putin.

On the occasion of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations also from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev, and the first president of the country Nursultan Nazarbaev.
