The President of Armenia attended festive events dedicated to the 2794th anniversary of the capital

President Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan tonight at the Republic Square were present at the gala-concert organized in the framework of the Erebuni-Yerevan-2794th anniversary celebrations.

In the morning, the President of Armenia and his spouse at the plaza adjoining the historical and scientific refuge-museum Erebuni attended also the opening festive event dedicated to the 2794th anniversary of the capital - a theatrical performance which presented the history of the creation of the city.

Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian, toured the festive Yerevan, conversed with the participants of the celebrations, and observed numerous events dedicated to the anniversary of the Armenian capital.
