President Serzh Sargsyan on April 12 visited Vatican City State where he took part in a liturgy devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial which was performed by His Holiness Pope Francis of Rome at Saint Peter’s Basilica.
 

Later on, the RA President gave interviews to the Italian RAI TV and the ANSA and Associated Press news agencies.
 

Following the liturgy devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial which was performed on April 12 by His Holiness Pope Francis of Rome in Vatican City, President Serzh Sargsyan held a private meeting with His Holiness. The Armenian President expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Pontiff for the Divine Liturgy.
