President Sargsyan participated at the ceremony of honoring the best athletes of Armenia
On December 29, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan participated at the ceremony of honoring the best athletes of Armenia.
Congratulating athletes and their coaches, and all those present with New Year and Christmas, the President of Armenia wished our athletes in 2009 to be healthy, strong, and cheerful and make our people happy with their success.
According to Serzh Sargsyan, for small nations in general and for our nation in particular, sport has an additional meaning and serves as an instrument of making our nation more recognizable in the world.
During this festive event, the President of Armenia also handed prizes to the top ten best athletes of Armenia for 2008.
