President Serzh Sargsyan conducted a working meeting with the marzpet of Armavir region, Ashot Kagramanian
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan conducted a working meeting with the marzpet of Armavir region, Ashot Kagramanian.
The marzpet of Armavir region briefed the President on the works accomplished in the region in 2008 and activities planned for this year. President Sargsyan was briefed also on the works directed at the solution of the problems raised by the residents of the region and realization of the pledges made by Serzh Sargsyan during his election campaign.
The President of Armenia instructed to pay thorough attention and undertake comprehensive measures for the supply of irrigation water as well as the retail of the produced agricultural goods. Ashot Kagramanian informed that soon he would be leaving for Sverdlovsk region in Russia to sign retail agreements for the agricultural produce. He also informed that the delegation of that region is planning to visit Armenia to sign corresponding agreements with the producers. The President of Armenia was also informed that the negotiations on the construction in Armavir of the local branch of the Sverdlovsk tractor plant are currently underway.
