President Serzh Sargsyan received the Prosecutor General of the Czech Republic Mrs. Reneta Vesetska

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Prosecutor General of the Czech Republic Mrs. Reneta Vesetska, who arrived to Armenia on a working visit.

The President of Armenia noted that recently he visited Prague and was greatly impressed by the achievements of the country. According to Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia is striving to join Europe and live by the European standards, including those of the legal area. He stressed the importance of the Memorandum on Cooperation signed by the Prosecutors General of Armenia and the Czech Republic.

Mrs. Renata Vesetska said that the Memorandum could serve as a basis for the cooperation of the Prosecutor General Offices of Armenia and the Czech Republic. She also underscored the importance of information sharing and legal assistance between the two countries.

The President of Armenia and the Prosecutor General of the Czech Republic concurred that the implementation of the main principles of the Memorandum would assist in improving work of the judicial bodies, including higher level of different crime solving, protection of human, civil rights and liberties, etc.
