President Serzh Sargsyan handed awards on the occasion of First Republic Day
Today, on the occasion of First Republic Day, President Serzh Sargsyan handed awards to a group of state officials, scientists, artists, architects, health care workers, and journalists who were bestowed the awards by the May 23 Presidential decree.
In his congratulatory remarks the President of Armenia said,
“I congratulate you all on the occasion of Republic Day.
It has become a good tradition to bestow state awards on those who through their work and their achievements contribute to the comprehensive development of our country.
I am confident that thanks to that kind of dedicated work and devotion the society becomes more mature and steps up to a new, higher level. This kind of people set standards in the society. The best guarantee of advancement is keeping the bar of standards high.
I cordially congratulate the awardees and wish you all new accomplishments in your missions.”
